Meet the Other Rush
Now another Rush has personally entered the picture. His name is Erik Rush. Sometimes eloquently referred to as "The Other Rush". Erik is very worthy of this title in his own right as he is a soft spoken man. Erik has much to offer as he is well rounded, insightful, intelligent, knowledgeable, and politically astute.
He is creative and talented also. He is very well written, the author of three books with another soon to be released. Erik is a contributor for a social commentary, various other print and on-line publications including our own... The Daily Pledge.
Our interaction has gained us more than a "business" relationship. We've established a friendship based on trust. It is hard to believe sometimes that two seemingly diverse backgrounds would meet later in life to have so much in common. We share a rich cultural background which in turn broadens ones perspectives on life, reality, discrimination, racial ignorance, society, etc. Enduring hardships and true Christianity, allows God to provide us with wisdom and understanding in the light of truth and thereby exposing falsehood with ease.
Yet we share diverse talents and we can see how our talents complement each other, and how we can work together to accomplish our goals in getting the word out about our beloved USA, monitor the pulse of our current Administration, know where we are headed, and strive for the direction in which we need to turn.
I am truly honored to be friends with Erik. When he told me he was going to be on Fox News with Sean Hannity, I was thrilled for him. I'm an ardent observer of human behavior and/or I find all people to be fascinating. The first time I saw Sean Hannity talking with Erik, I sensed a mutual politeness between the two men. Spotting it back then was difficult due to Sean's obnoxious liberal mouth piece next to him, yet I detected the kindness and respect.
This most recent interaction on Fox News between Sean Hannity and Erik solidified my observation between the two men. Sean is one of the best at Fox News in my opinion, and letting him have his own show was one of the very BEST moves they made. Sean says what he thinks in his kind and gentle demeanor. Erik shares in the same mannerisms and the two thereby complement each other very well. I would like to see them together more in the future, because they could convey a desperately needed message to viewers or listeners.
Thank you Erik for your tenacity, perseverance, and dedication to this passion that God has instilled within your heart. Thank you for your friendship.
Truly,

Just Me
Let me begin by qualifying myself as somewhat atypical as I am an experiential learner in this journey called ‘life’. As I reflect on my life, it becomes very obvious how it all ties into the present.
One life changing experience occured in 7th grade, in Cape Girardeau, MO. Most people may be familiar with Cape Girardeau, MO, because Rush Limbaugh put us on the map. When I was in 7th grade, all the grade schools consolidated into one school in preparation for Junior High. I ran for President against 3 boys and won. I enjoyed that roll and got ridiculed by my grade school friends… yet again. This is around the age that one determines deep within what they want to be when they grow up. I deeply wanted to understand people, because from about 2nd or 3rd grade on, I never could understand the cruelty of people, and it was my childhood peers.
The young girl that won the Presidency had a difficult time growing up in that conservative discriminating town as a bi-racial child. My mother is Korean and my father is an all American blonde hair, blue eyed American. Children only know what they are taught, and sadly much of it is by their parents.
Sometime after high school I moved to St. Louis, MO, and eventually obtained my BS in Marketing with a minor in International Business. I held various positions in business, and product management with a major Midwest oil corporation. I had high worldly aspirations, as I had nothing else to set my sights upon. I worked diligently, attended college and partied a lot. At an early age I hit that infamous "glass ceiling", and got another offer that sounded better, but was a bit riskier and I took it. I took a sabbatical with a boy friend. My personal life by all appearances was that of a traveler, partier, and just about having what appeared to be "fun". Little did I know that treadmill to nowhere was about to come to a screeching halt. By the grace of Almighty God, I survived a severe physical beating by my significant other, who professed his love to me. I left everything for him and lost everything, but gained more in return. Christ saved me from my life of destruction on September 22, 1992, when I finally reached the end of my sin filled self.
From there I married my Canadian husband, and moved to Northern IN to pursue my Master's Degree at a private University in Southern MI, in Counseling Psychology. Upon completion of my degree I returned to business as General Manager of a local transportation company, then on to the position as Director of Marketing for a publicly held national transportation corporation. I was hired as they were establishing a team comprised of individuals, savvy in business to save this company from bankruptcy, but it was too late. I was downsized in a branch the recreational vehicle industry, before it became “the RV graveyard capital” in today’s dreadful economy.
My life experiences tie into our political climate today… racial discrimination, Presidency, Congress, understanding people, counseling, job loss, etc. Here is where my Canadian husband comes into play. Not once did I have a need to understand Socialized medicine. I refuse to call it “health care” that’s a misnomer as there is no “health” concerned, nor “care” considered or given. People suffer needlessly and die prematurely due to BIG Government dictating the every move of the physician and their salary caps. His mother died prematurely in Canada, as recently as June 13, 2009. This is a well known fact, as her Canadian son-in-law is a practicing physician in FL. His aunt had to wait one year for a knee replacement. So those Socialist issues, depth meaning, and my ability to empathize really hit “close to home”.
At the same time, I got onto Facebook for one friend from there it snowballed into to high school. When I exhausted a multitude of graduating classes by utilizing my networking and marketing skills, I began to realize, as I watched Fox News with the likes of Glenn Beck, Maj Gen Paul Vallely and others; listened to Rush Limbaugh and reconnected my friendship with his cousin …. that I am truly embolden with a political passion.
